Memorial Reefs - An Ecological Alternative to Traditional Burial

Memorial Reefs International supports the marine environment around the world by creating underwater memorials.

Memorial Reefs contain the cremated remains of you or your loved ones. A bronze plaque engraved with a personal message or epitaph is affixed to the memorial and GPS coordinates are provided for future visits by boat.

A lasting undersea memorial that holds cremated remains

We cast undersea concrete structures called reef balls. We mount a custom marine-grade bronze plaque, inter the cremated remains inside the structure, and lower them to the seafloor.
