Our Memorial Reef off the Coast of Cape May, New Jersey

The state of New Jersey offers a wide variety of impressive scenery and fantastic experiences.

From the iconic Atlantic City boardwalk, the venerable forests, and the cosmopolitan appeal, there is so much to appreciate about this state year-round.

New Jersey is also the shipwreck capital of the United States, making it a must visit destination for diving fanatics. Hundreds of artificial reefs line the coast, some formed on the hulls of sunken ships, others of our own creation.

Upon arrival at the Undersea Memorial Garden, the Memorial Reef is placed into the sea. Once the Memorial Reef is resting on the ocean floor, fresh flowers will be provided to cast over the dedication site. We invite you to say words of remembrance and hold a religious ceremony if you so choose.
